Teacher’s Day celebration at RCIS

In India, teacher’s day is celebrated every year on September 5th to mark the birthday anniversary of a great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who served as the first Vice president and second President of India. He spent most of his time writing and educating
society.

In schools and colleges, teacher’s day is celebrated to honor teachers by conducting meaningful activities. The students usually host the celebration by decorating the classroom and performing various activities. This is a special day both for students, teaching and non-teaching the staff as the program brings them closer making teachers feel how valuable and respectful their profession is.

RCIS students organized the teacher’s day celebration in a creative way by decorating the classroom, honoring the teachers, speeches to teachers, cutting cakes, and playing fun games.
RCIS chairman Mr. Ramchandra Reddy and Principal Mrs. Sulochana Pradeep marked their presence by addressing the students. Teachers addressed students by delivering speeches about the values and ethics of an educated person. The day was filled with pleasure among teachers and students at the RCIS English international school Hesaraghatta road.

In the end, students thanked teachers for their valuable teachings through speeches. The students contributed and surprised the teacher with gifts and goodies.
