About Our Admission
Admission :
The academic year at RC International School commences in June and concludes in March, with a summer vacation spanning April and May. Admission reservations begin in November each year.
Admission Process :
1. Pre-Primary Admissions (Nursery, KG-I & KG-II) :
- Admissions for new students in Pre-Primary classes occur in the first week of March.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Nursery: Children must be 2 years and 10 months old by June 1 of the admission year.
- KG-I: Children must be 3 years and 10 months old by June 1 of the admission year.
- KG-II: Children must be 4 years and 10 months old by June 1 of the admission year.
2. Admissions for Classes I to VII :
- Admission tests are required for students entering Classes I to VII.
- Oral interviews are conducted for KG-I and KG-II applicants, subject to the Principal’s discretion.
3. General Admissions :
- Admissions for other classes begin in the third week of March.
- Students transferring from CBSE or recognized English Medium Schools with a similar academic pattern can be admitted any time during the academic year, subject to seat availability.
- The gap between leaving the previous school and joining RC International School should not exceed one month.
4. Application and Documentation :
- Application forms and prospectuses are available at the school’s Administration Section during working hours.
- The Principal reserves the right to accept or reject any application without providing a reason.
- Admission tests for Classes I to V and oral interviews for KG-I and KG-II are subject to the Principal’s discretion.
- Admission is contingent upon maintaining a standard equivalent to the required class.
- Test dates will be communicated to parents, and results will be posted on the school notice board within a week of the test.
5. Transfer Students :
- Students who have completed one academic session at their previous school must take the admission test.
- Academic records and the Transfer certificate (TC) must be produced during the admission process.
